Sailing camp is always a very popular activity for the club. The campers make great progress with their sailing skills throughout the week and we top it off with a Friends & Family Bash on Saturday afternoon. We’ll order up the right amount of wind and plenty of sun ... making for a fun week.

Sailing camp was a great success with the right amount of wind and plenty of sun making for a fun week. Thanks to instructors Bill Monsma & Jonathon Eckels for their leadership and the many club members who lent their boats and support to the program. The 20 campers made great progress over the course of the week which was capped off by a sail across Indian Lake to Old Field Beach State Park. In addition to sailing Sunfish & Lasers each student also had the opportunity to take the helm of an Interlake to round out their experience. The Friends & Family Bash was held on Saturday afternoon with games and food to wrap up the week. We hope you'll take a minute to check out the pictures from Sailing Camp 2012!
